Ministry of Labour: 9 Working Days Remaining to Legalize the Status of Violating Non-Jordanian Workers

Al-Taj News – Spokesperson for the Ministry of Labour, Mohammad Al-Zyoud, confirmed on Monday that 9 actual working days remain before the end of the period for legalizing and regularizing the status of violating non-Jordanian workers, which was approved by the Council of Ministers last June and ends at the close of business on September 30, 2026.

Al-Zyoud noted, in a press statement, that the working hours of labour directorates continue daily until 5:00 p.m., including Saturdays.

He called on employers in various sectors, including household employers, to regularize the status of violating non-Jordanian workers employed by them, in order to avoid having a “deportation” notation placed in the Ministry of Labour’s electronic systems against any male or female domestic worker found to be in violation.

He also warned that a violation would be issued against the employer, with a fine of no less than 800 dinars for each worker found to be working for them in violation of the provisions of the law.
